“Not Good Enough”

It occurs to me that the phrase “not good enough” isn’t even real. It is an imaginary construct designed to keep us from using our gifts.

No one can tell us we are “not good enough” at something, not even ourselves. Abilities are subjective, and certainly nothing is more subjective than creativity.

Yet I have battled doubts about my own “good enough-ness” my entire life.

Anyone else?

Why have we been letting something with no substance dim our light?

May we shine bright in this new year, and may we remove “not good enough” from our vocabularies!
